Sales pitch and product training for B2B teams
For teams where every seller tells a different story, or where new products never reach customer conversations. Our sales pitch training tests how each person explains your business, then teaches them to pitch clearly and to talk about features in terms of value. £7,950 + VAT, six weeks, for up to 12 people.
Sound familiar?
What it solves
What we hear from teams before we start.
- Two sellers describe us in two different ways
- Demos walk through features, not the problem
- Product and sales teams rarely talk
- Last year's training day is long forgotten
What we cover
What the training covers
- 01
The pitch
A clear explanation of what you do, who it is for and why it matters, that works in thirty seconds and in a full meeting. We build it from your best sellers' versions and from what customers say, then each person adapts it to their own voice so it never sounds like a script.
- 02
Features, benefits and value
A feature is what the product does. A benefit is what that means for the person using it. Value is the result the customer's business cares about: time saved, risk reduced, revenue protected. Sellers practise moving from one to the next with your own products and real deals.
- 03
Product knowledge for sellers
Product sessions run with your product team, so sellers learn what is new, which problems each product solves and where it is not the right fit. Product managers hear the questions customers actually ask. Both sides leave with a shared way of describing the product.
- 04
Testing and feedback
Each person records a pitch before the workshops and again after them. We score both against the same standard and give one-to-one feedback twice. Managers see where each person stands and what to coach next, instead of guessing from a single role play. The recordings also show the team its own progress.
How it runs
What we do, step by step
- Week 1Pitch baseline
Each person records a short pitch to a set brief, so we start from how they sell today.
- Weeks 2–3Workshops
Two workshop days: one on the pitch, one on turning features into benefits and value, using your products.
- Weeks 4–5Feedback rounds
Two rounds of one-to-one feedback on recorded pitches, against a clear standard.
- Week 6Pitch library
The best versions are kept as examples for new starters and future launches.
What you keep
Yours at the end
- A pitch standard the team agrees on
- A baseline and a final recording for each person
- Feature, benefit and value notes for your main products
- A pitch library for new starters
- Coaching notes for managers
How we measure it
Agreed with you in week one
We score pitches against a standard agreed with you at the start, and compare the baseline with the final recording on:
- Clarity: what you do and who it is for
- Relevance to the customer's problem
- Value, not only features
- Consistency across the team

Questions about this service
How do you train a sales team on products?
Start from the customer's problem, not the feature list. We run sessions with your product team where each product is explained as problem, feature, benefit and value. Sellers then practise explaining it and answering the questions customers ask, and a short check at the end shows who is ready.
What is the difference between features, benefits and value?
A feature is what the product does, for example automatic reports. A benefit is what that means for the user: no more building reports by hand. Value is what the business gains, such as hours given back to the team or fewer reporting errors. Senior buyers tend to judge a purchase on value.
How do you test a pitch?
Each person records a short pitch to a set brief. We score it against a standard agreed with you: is it clear, is it about the customer, does it show value, does it end with a next step. The same test after the workshops shows what has changed for each person.
How many people per cohort?
The package covers up to 12 people, which keeps workshops practical and feedback personal. Each extra person is £450 + VAT, and larger teams run in groups. If you have several teams, such as new business and account management, we group people by role so the examples fit their work.
Is the training online or in person?
Either. Workshops work best in person, where people can practise in pairs and small groups and get feedback on the spot. Feedback rounds run online, so each person can record when it suits them and keep the notes to return to.
Can product managers take part?
We recommend it. The programme is designed to bring product and sales teams to the same table, and product managers usually take away as much as the sellers. They hear how customers describe their problems, and sellers learn the reasoning behind the roadmap.
Is a one-off training day enough?
Rarely, in our experience. People remember a good day, but habits change through practice and feedback over several weeks. That is why the programme runs for six weeks, with a recorded test before and after, two feedback rounds in between, and notes for managers on what to coach next.
