CRM adoption and sales forecasting for B2B teams

For sales leaders who cannot trust the forecast, and teams on HubSpot, Salesforce or similar who use a fraction of what they pay for. We set up the stages, views and weekly routines that make the CRM the place where the team runs its pipeline, so CRM adoption comes from use, not reminders. From £6,500 + VAT, four to six weeks.

Sound familiar?

What it solves

What we hear from teams before we start.

  • The CRM is updated just before the pipeline meeting
  • Managers cannot see which deals are at risk
  • The forecast moves in the last week of the quarter
  • New tools were bought and never adopted

What we cover

What we set up

  • 01

    Pipeline stages and fields

Stages that match how your customers buy, each with exit criteria, and only the fields someone actually uses. Every required field should answer a question a manager asks. Fewer, better fields are the quickest way to get sellers updating the CRM without being chased every Friday.

  • 02

    Views and dashboards

A view for each role. Sellers see their own deals and next steps. Managers see pipeline coverage, stalled deals and deal strength across the team. If your CRM cannot show what managers need, WE-DEV's developers can build a custom dashboard, quoted separately. Each view is built around the questions asked in the weekly meeting.

  • 03

    The weekly forecast routine

A short weekly forecast call with clear categories, such as commit, best case and pipeline, and a record of how the forecast changes from week to week. Managers question deals from the CRM rather than from a spreadsheet, so there is one version of the number.

  • 04

    Tool selection and roll-out

Advice on which tools are worth adding and which are paid for but not used, based on how the team works. We help set up the ones you choose and plan the roll-out, with short training for each role. We always start with what you already pay for.

How it runs

What we do, step by step

  1. Week 1Review

How each role uses the CRM today, and what managers need from it.

  2. Weeks 2–3Set up

Stages, required fields, deal-strength scoring and dashboards for sellers and managers.

  3. Weeks 3–5Forecast routine

A weekly forecast call with clear categories, run with managers until they lead it themselves.

  4. Weeks 5–6Tools and handover

Advice on the tools worth adding, short training for each role and a written guide to the set-up.

What you keep

Yours at the end

  • Pipeline stages with exit criteria
  • Dashboards for sellers and managers
  • Deal-strength scoring
  • A weekly forecast routine and its record
  • A short CRM guide for each role
  • A QBR template and schedule for customer success

How we measure it

Agreed with you in week one

We record the starting point and agree what to track, for example:

  • Open deals with a next step and a date
  • Deals updated in the last seven days
  • How far the forecast moves in the final month
  • How often managers use the dashboards

Questions

Questions about this service

How do you increase CRM adoption?

Make the CRM useful to the people who update it. That means fewer fields, views that help sellers plan their week, and managers who run pipeline and forecast meetings from the CRM instead of spreadsheets. When the meeting runs on the CRM, the data gets updated before the meeting.

Why do sellers avoid the CRM?

Usually because it costs them time and gives little back: too many fields, stages that do not match how deals really move, and reports nobody reads. Sellers update what their manager uses. Fix the set-up and the routines, and most of the resistance goes with them.

Do you set up HubSpot or Salesforce?

We set up the sales side in your existing CRM, working with your admin: stages, fields, views, dashboards and forecast categories. We are not a HubSpot or Salesforce partner. For large technical configuration, integrations or custom code, we quote separately or work alongside your partner.

Is data migration included?

No. Moving data between systems is quoted separately, once we have seen how much data there is and how clean it is. The set-up itself works with the data you already have. If old data needs cleaning before the new stages make sense, we say so in the review and price it separately.

Do we need to buy new software?

Usually not. We start with what you already pay for, and only suggest a new tool when it saves more work than it adds. Where a tool is worth buying, we explain why, help you compare the options and plan the roll-out with your team.

Who builds custom dashboards?

WE-DEV's own developers. WE-DEV LTD is the company behind We-Enable. A custom dashboard is quoted separately, and only suggested when your CRM cannot show what managers need. It reads from your CRM, so sellers do not enter anything twice.

How do you improve sales forecast accuracy?

Start with stages that have clear exit criteria, so a deal's stage means something. Add deal-strength questions, a weekly forecast call with fixed categories, and a record of how each deal's forecast changes. Over a few quarters, compare the forecast with what closed to see where the misses come from: stages, sellers or deal sizes.
